Whenever a car flips over vertically in rallycross, first landing on its front end and rolling over onto its rear end, it is known as an end over end crash and is common in rallycross and other motorsports.

At Lydden Hill 1979, during the British Rally Championship, the late great John Button caused Paul Springett's Mini to roll end-over-end-over-end.

At Las Vegas 2012, during the Global Rallycross Championship, David Binks' Fiesta had an end-over-end smash after the car nosed on landing from a jump.

At Franciacorta 2015, during World Rallycross Championship practice, Manfred Stohl's Fiesta had an end-over-end crash when the steering broke.
