Björn Waldegård from Rimbo was a Swedish rally driver, and the winner of the inaugural World Rally Championship for drivers in 1979, who may not have won a title in European Rallycross, but had a couple of wins in the 1974 season, and another in 1976, and was runner up to Franz Wurz of Austria in 1974.
One time, Björn Waldegård and Franz Wurz teamed up for the Jänner Rallye in 1984, with Waldegård driving and Wurz co-driving
